INFORMATION ON OUR WEBSITE

The information and data displayed on Dance Body Mind is to the best of our knowledge accurate at the time of publication. We reserve the right to make changes to the site without prior notice. 

You must not use the website for any of the following:
- for fraudulent purposes, or in connection with a criminal offence or other unlawful activity
- to send, use or reuse any material that is illegal, offensive, abusive, indecent, defamatory, obscene or menacing; or in breach of copyright, trademark, confidence, privacy or any other right; or is otherwise injurious to third parties; or objectionable; or which consists of or contains software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings or any "spam" - to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety.
 

SECURITY AND PRIVACY

When you place an order with us, you are agreeing to purchase the items detailed in your order. You are also allowing us to use the information supplied by you in order to process that order. Once you have placed an order with us you will receive a confirmation email. You must contact us as soon as possible should you notice any errors on your confirmation.

PayPal operates our secure checkout and you have two payment options. We accept online payment via your PayPal account if you have one or by debit or credit card (subject to validation and authorisation checks).
 

PAYMENTS AND BOOKINGS

Payment for products offered on Dance Body Mind either paid for online or in person in cash automatically confirm your acceptance of the terms & conditions. 

We offer a no refund policy

For Online Membership only our card will not be charged until the end of your 7 day trial.

All memberships are automatically renewed on a monthly or annual basis depending on the selected plan.

To cancel a monthly membership you need to request your membership cancellation to the following email info@dancebodymind.com

Once a course, a program, a class or any digital product is booked and paid for via our website, we offer a no refund policy.

CLASS BOOKINGS

  • Booking is final. No refunds or transfers after booking.

  • All fees are payable strictly in advance prior to the course start date to secure a place in class.

  • NO refunds are given for missed classes or absence.

  • You can make up for missed classes by taking a different class within the same course period. 

  • The course package applies to the dates specified. 

  • ​NO make up classes or refunds given where classes clash with public holidays.

  • Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.​


HEALTH AND SAFETY

In order that we maintain appropriate standards of health and safety, when you place an order with us you are responsible for disclosing any prior medical or physical conditions to the teacher before the class starts. If you are in any doubt as to the suitability of the course please consult your doctor/GP.

When booking with us, you, the client accepts and assumes all ALL RESPONSIBILITY for any loss, damage, injury or adverse consequence suffered by the client as a result of engaging in dance AND INDEMNIFIES Dance Body Mind absolutely in respect of any claim by or through the client in the event of injury to or demise of the client as a consequence of engaging in dance excluding only loss or damage suffered as the direct consequence of negligent breach of duty of care by Dance Body Mind. The client acknowledges that some physical contact may be necessary by course instructor and photos/videos may be taken during the class or event

What type of information do we collect?

Our website uses cookies for a better browsing experience, so therefore may collect information such as the IP address of your computer to see if you return or your log-in and password details for Happy Me Dance, if you request for them to remember you on your next visit. If you book a class or event, we will also receive, collect and store data about your purchase and the personal details that you provide. We may also use software tools to measure and collect information about your user experience, including page response times and page interaction.

 

How and why do we collect personal information?

We collect the personal information you provide through our website. We also collect information through the emails you send to us, such as your name, email and phone number, so we can answer your questions and ensure your bookings and payments on the website run smoothly. If you sign up to our e-newsletter, we will keep the personal information you provide so we can keep you updated with the latest events and news, as requested by you. You can unsubscribe to this email at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button on the email or emailing info@dancebodymind.com with your details, stating you would like to unsubscribe. We also collect personal information to comply with any applicable laws and regulations. 

 

How do we store, use, share and disclose your personal information?
Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

If you send an email to us, your name, email, the contents within the email and any personal information given will be stored within the Gmail account it is sent to, which is password protected. If you would like these emails to be deleted, please let us know. If you provide your phone number, we may use it to contact you about classes you have enquired about; and to help answer any of your questions. Your number will be saved by our Director, Michelle Clark, on her password-protected mobile phone, so she can answer your questions via text or call. If you would not like your phone number stored, please let us know so it can be deleted.

 

How we communicate with you
We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to send updates about our company, or contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes, we may contact you via email, telephone and text messages.

 

How we use cookies and other tracking tools?

Our website tracks personal information through the use of cookies and we use the WIX Analytics tool to track how many visitors we’ve had to the website, as well as other statistics about our site visitors. Our website also uses a WIX Bookings form to collect your information and process your payment. The WIX plug-in apps are covered by the WIX Privacy Policy.
